Just ten minutes by foot from Compo Beach is a home that “evokes the essence of mid-century modern” design. Listed for $3.295 million, the home on 295 Compo Road S sits on a 1.01-acre lot and was built in 1966 by architect Joseph Fuller for his family, according to listing agent Emily Gordon. Fuller D’Angelo Architects were behind a 2005 addition to Staples High School in Westport, according to the firm’s website, as well as the historic restorations for Vassar College in New York.
The property, which has two levels, features four bedrooms, three full bathrooms and one partial bathroom spread throughout 4,593 square feet. The listing also notes the open floor plan, combined with 10-foot ceilings, allow natural light to flood the home. According to the listing, the lower level has a wet bar with a disco ball and a “sunken conversation pit.” It also has a bedroom and a full bath.

The primary bedroom has a full bathroom, while the second bedroom has access to a deck. According to Gordon, what is considered the fourth bedroom is currently being used as an office and has a big walk-in closet. The listing notes that there is expansion potential for a third floor or roof deck, as well as room for a pool outside.
The home is located near Longshore Golf Course, which was voted one of the best places for golfing in 2008 by Golf Digest magazine and profiled in the magazine in 2014. Longshore State Park is also nearby, and features amenities including tennis courts and a pool.
