UE men’s basketball coaching lineup set; workouts to begin next week

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) – College of Evansville head men’s basketball coach David Ragland and his complete workers met with the media on Tuesday for the 1st time as a total group.

The rapid pals convey in practical experience from all ranges of the video game, and numerous of the coaches have labored with each other in their basketball professions.

New UE assistant mentor George “G” Swanson has recognised Ragland for about 15 yrs. He joins the Aces from North Idaho College, where he put in the last eight seasons as an assistant mentor. During his time at NIC, he directed many pupil-athletes to Mentor Ragland’s plans adhering to their JUCO careers.

“The way this group works with each other, we’re up early in the morning, we’re in the body weight space, we’re on the treadmill doing the job out alongside one another,” Swanson said. “We’re dedicated to us as a team. The message to new recruits and returning gamers alike is the new coaching staff members cares about their pupil-athletes.

Unique with this team is that two of the coaches have been previous Purple Aces them selves. Ex-UE gamers Marcus Wilson and Craig Snow return property to join the software as Ragland’s assistant coaches.
