Deputies find 150 dogs in suspected puppy mill in Nicholas Baugh’s home in Stanislaus County

MODESTO, Calif. (KTXL) — The Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Place of work mentioned a gentleman was arrested Thursday just after deputies responded to a domestic violence phone and found out dozens of mistreated dogs inside of his residence.

According to the sheriff’s place of work, deputies went to Nicholas Baugh’s home on Roselawn Avenue in Modesto dependent on a domestic violence situation noted on April 30. In that incident, the sheriff’s business office reported the female described that Baugh allegedly strike her with an ashtray and that he employed a shock collar on her.

Inside the home, deputies observed 150 canines that appeared to be mistreated and malnourished, Sgt. Luke Schwartz informed FOX40. The canine observed provided Dobermans and French bulldogs, and all of the canine have been placed in the care of Stanislaus County Animal Providers, the sheriff’s workplace stated.
